DISHMA -A CONSULTING ROUND TABLE
There are numerous human afflictions, which constantly block, frustrate, deprive, dehumanize, suffocate and devalue individual achievement, social progress, peace and harmony, and even just ambitions. This is unacceptable; and must be addressed, solved or resolved using any amount of resources and means available to us. Surely, there exists answers to all our problems. But in all, help must be sought, relentlessly.
While, if we addressed; 1) the spiritual positive interpretations: noting that; in some societies beliefs send people into human killings and sacrifice for wealth and eternity), 2) socio-economic, socio-culture stress: noting that; through positive cultural practices a community can be organized in a healthy way, 3) socio-political distress and disregard for nature conservation practices, for sustainable development and human and ecological health -where, under utilization of existing human and ecological resources amidst widespread and accumulating load of acute challenges as; illnesses, ignorance and docility, self-destroying lifestyles and practices prevail unchecked.
While the little resources that are developed end up in the hands of few greedy leaders, who selfishly amass to themselves at the expense of the very sick and poor -whilst noting that such states (as poverty and illness) creates aggravated mental health problems, loss spiritual attachments, moral degeneration, conflicts, hopelessness devaluation of life and nature -through remorseless aggressions to destroy ecology and humanity. It is such cumulative human and ecological insecurities that DISHMA/IMHS wishes to put into context in its goal and objectives.
In using a multi-systemic approach, DISHMA/IMHS describes the approach -as in case of an obese patient, whose treatment approach may be –medicinal or medical case, behavioral or psychological and nutritional, all of which manned solely by specialized individuals, yet a combination of such individuals is most effective.
There fore, numerous sub-systems working together would be the best way to go -towards finding solutions to multiple and overwhelming human problems. Such micro-set approaches need to be amplified across each of them for a multi-faced action for health-living and healthy-development, human/ecological survival and security. This could work with concerted efforts of several mindsets and organizations -related in philosophy so that it realizes its goal, aims and objectives.

RE: LETTER OF INTRODUCTION
I am Jacob Waiswa, the Executive Director of DISHMA CONSULT that is undertaking Career Development and Competitiveness (CDC) project.
DISHMA CONSULT is a research science-based company -whose services are presently mobile-based. It has a mission to reducing damage caused ignorance, dangerous institutional policies, man's aggression to the environment and adjustment diffucultie, conflicts and other mental health related problems. CDC, on the other hand, stands to reduce uncertainty, fear and confusion about the future due to poor career development paths and lack of competitiveness edge.
CDC will start rendering its services on January 5th 2009. Services offered will include; career guidance and counseling, training in career development processes and enhancing competitiveness, providing guiding information and advisory services, employer placement recommendation, private sector promotional services, among others.
It is my belief that the programme will greatly benefit participants and the larger community at large. It will, for example; help make participants aware of themselves and the best of their talents that could be developed, manage stress and reduce insecurity at work places, facilitate healthy organization or institutional culture and policy reforms and eventually ensure high productivity and projects success as well as facilitate job and scholarly placements etc.
One of CDC important values is partnership in development. It could be possible that your programmes have one or a few interventions related to CDC. If so, together we could, indeed, join hands at a number of fronts to unite and empower our communities for a secure future.
In case you have any questions, please do not hesitate to write back using my address above. Besides, we could opt for a meeting anytime you are ready.
Thank you for your time.
Yours Sincerely,
Jacob Waiswa
