Politics, economy, sociocultural, spirituality and wellness have unique relationship for their well functioning and benefit of the people. It comes down to the common saying that, behind every problem is the question of leadership. Such leadership drifts through the national’s economy, culture, spirituality and welfare.

The economy makes politics of the land meaningful and sustains spirituality, culture and well-being of the people. Spirituality too strengthens them all and enables success and realization of national goals –while productive politics, workforce, and functional cultural and spiritual systems need health people.

With 5 variables showing expected frequencies less than five then we reject the null –hypothesis of any differences in perceptions of the sociopolitical, socioeconomic, sociocultural, spiritual, and wellness of Uganda, patriotism existed –with no differences of how Ugandans perceived their country currently and in the future –henceforth, homogeneous.

Last year (2010), the national resistance movement government ventured into a promotion of patriotism that was the missing link impending development. Contrary to that, Ugandans, indeed, believed in development and in every effort to improve on their welfare. In others words, they aspired to be involved in the affairs of their country, recognition of the political, economic, spiritual, cultural and health rights.

In Uganda government was reluctant to take on issues of encroachment seriously, and insensitive of the effects on the environment. It is little wonder that the landslides in Bududa, Mbale killed 300 people for government to deal with the encroachment problems later. It did so by resettling inhabitants in Bunyoro in Masindi District.

Aspects of spirituality were ripe in Uganda with all people in one way or the other religious or spiritual. The New Years Eve summed up all that –when people thronged worship centers to thank God for seeing them through the years and to pray for a peaceful Uganda.

However, while prayer for peace was greatly successfully in most areas; in some, faith leaders were disappointing. In Namboole stadium, there had been good intentions to invite representative of various presidential candidates for prayers –some of whom turned up.

Each agent was given a chance to introduce himself, which was an indication of fairness by the event leader. But it was soon contaminated milk –when he singled out on representative of them all to make a speech to the gathering, others where not given a chance.

Such a conduct was unfair and only generated ill-feelings among candidates –whose time was wasted by accepting to attend the event, and the other feeling that, by supporting a specific candidate. By doing so, they as an organization went against the principle of impartially.

In conclusion, the sociopolitical, socioeconomic, sociocultural, spiritual and wellness issues being homogeneous in the true spirit of patriotism, Ugandans need concerted and sustained efforts to make advancements in those aspects unchallenged by anybody since they are shared concerns and pursuits. It calls for individual responsibility towards the national or continental goals.
