DIETING, LIFESTYLE AND REST TIMES IN UGANDA

Dieting is a big challenge to both the haves and the don’t-haves. While the haves struggle to make right nutrition choices, the don’t-haves on one hand struggle to find anything basic to eat regardless of the food value.
In their different situations both suffer the burden of work pressure and stress to maintain their standards of living and to deal with the challenges of their respective development levels. At the same time, both categories will require rest time to renew their body functionality systems.
At P=0.194 > 0.05 there was no relationship between balanced diet and lifestyle. Deficit of one led to malfunctioning and illnesses. Eating a balanced diet in that regard can be attributed to having knowledge of proper nutrition and its benefits rather than lifestyle factor. This means lifestyle has got a different dimension about nutrition –including a tendency to follow a poor nutrition regime.
Healthy eating is not about strict nutrition philosophies, staying unrealistically thin, or depriving yourself of the foods you love. Rather, it is about feeling great, having more energy, and keeping oneself as healthy as possible –all of which can be achieved by learning some nutrition basics and using them in a way that works for you.
Although many women are aware of the fact that maintaining a well-balanced, nutritious diet and practicing regular exercise is important to their overall health, it is a lesser known fact that a healthy diet and overall healthy lifestyle is crucial to your reproductive health and your chances of getting pregnant. Whether or not one maintains a healthy diet and lifestyle can greatly impact your odds of getting pregnant.
And P=0.194 > 0.05 for lifestyle and resting, showed no relationship contrary to earlier thoughts that adequate time was necessary to help refuel the body and enable it function well again. Instead of stating that work stress affects sleep patterns, it accelerated the need to rest.
Many people experience stress on a daily basis. This affects their feeding habits in number of ways –either by increasing food intake of the foods or losing its appetite to some or more of it.
Anxiety is no longer a short lived emotional response to a particular demand or event, but a constant feeling of tension, worry and feeling under threat. Anything that affects one’s life will affect the sleep patterns.
It can be confirmed that worrying does not resolve anything. But, even when we manage to fill our days with work and distractions, the night can be a haven for unresolved problems and nagging doubts –thereby making it difficult to rest.
With P=0.138 > 0.05, whether one had a good diet or not would not be denied of sleep. He or she naturally felt asleep. Sleep deprivation was due to other reasons like work stress (lifestyle), noise pollution, physical illness or stress rather than a dietary issue.
